Learn to create realistic drawings and paintings of flowers on toned paper, using acombination of mediums.. Students will be working from life and can choose from varioussimple floral arrangements to study form, rhythm, light, color, and depth. Learning to simplify, or mass, into general value shapes and working from general shapes to specific details will help create a believable illusion of light and space.

Karen paints alongside of her students to show the “how” and “why” of artistic principles. Learning to “see” as an artist and continuing to apply these principles to your own work will promote growth.
